PEACE JAM GREECE YOUTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE AT THE

AMERICAN FARM SCHOOL OF GREECE

EIMAI-Center for Emerging Young Leaders in collaboration with PEACEJAM U.K. and the American Farm School of Greece invites you to attend the first PEACEJAM GREECE Youth Leadership Conference for youth ages 13 -18.

PeaceJam is an international peace education program guided by the work of 13 Nobel Laureates of Peace to facilitate youth leadership, civic responsibility & engagement and advocacy for peace, social justice and human rights. (Led by Desmond Tutu, Dalai Lama, Jody Williams, Aung San Suu Kyi, Adolpho Perez, Oscar Arias, Miread Maguire, Betty Williams and others)

The theme of this year’s one-day youth conference will be “Refugees: Looking for a Place to Call Home”. Students will engage in simulations and experiential workshops and activities to enhance our understanding of the plight of refugees to escape war and find safety and acceptance in their new life. Students will participate in a collaborative community service project to benefit refugee children. Student & Teacher workshops will be facilitated by PeaceJam U.K. (Conference is in english with translator available)
